If anyone knows, do fishing skill buffs apply to the previous expansions? It is unclear in the Fishing skill window. The only skill increase I can see is in Zandalari Fishing at the top of the window. I do not use the base UI, if that makes any difference.

I think they do as their values are so low on things that used to give a large boost (ex. Bright Baubles used to give 75 fishing skill, now give 7). 7 on top of 75 (Cata) is a decent boost, but 7 on top of 300 (Vanilla) is not.
I’ve seen that on individual items and that’s fine. My issue is that my fishing artifact, for example, doesn’t seem to add any points to any other expansion in the crafting skill window. It only shows the fishing pole affecting the latest expansion.
