Does anyone know of any mainhand fish besides the Steelscale Crushfish? Fish slapping on a warrior to 60 is my next project and the crushfish is quite rare and has a level requirement I believe.

I believe it’s 20 but don’t quote me on that.
Also not sure if there are other MH.
If I find one it’s yours if on Defias Pillager.

I may have used up all my luck on Vendorstrike in SoM though. Fished up two within days of each other.

i use find find those in the lake behind Goldshire on a regular basis fishing.

There is also a one hand fish weapon that I don’t believe is restricted to main or off hand that you catch in STV. It’s around level 40 and I’ve caught a couple of those before as well. I think it’s called something Strongfish.

Looks like there are two weapons: Steelscale Crushfish at level 20 (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=6360/steelscale-crushfish) and Rockhide Strongfish at level 40 (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=19808/rockhide-strongfish).
There are off-hand fish ‘weapons’ that deal no damage and can be used from level 1. You could off-hand one of those and punch your way to level 20 for maximum hardcore.

Your memory was pretty much as accurate as the WoWhead guide. Level 40 fish weapon from STV, bang on.
Yeah I remembered a bit about it since all those I caught in STV were during the fishing contest from the special pools.

This may be nearly as painful to level as a paladin using the AH and getting regular groups for dungeon runs!
