So I was fishing in Boralus and when I caught a fish it goes in my inventory, cast another line out and catch whatever gear or fish and the fish I caught before it just disappeared but yet all the useless grays stay in my inventory, lost out on four lane snappers and a couple frenzied fangtooths. Its getting annoying and am afraid to fish anymore and end up losing out on a mount. Fix this issue asap please because I do like to fish while waiting for ques and hate to lose out on something to pass time.
are you sure they’re not just placing themselves into a bag which you’ve designated for reagents?
I only have hexweave bags and even if that was the case I still have a addon that shows all bags so it would still show my inventory as a whole when I hit B. So yes positive that’s not the issue. If I can find a way to post screen shots of me getting a fish and it leaving.
I’m sorry to be laughing but the first thing I thought of when I read your post was, “those fish know what’s coming and are jumping ship.” …gave me a good chuckle.
However, on the serious side, have you tried deleting your cache folder and relaunching the game? I had something similar way back in Legion and someone suggested I refresh my folders.
So I saved my 3 folders first to my desktop and then deleted them. Relaunched the game to receive new folders and when I got back in the game, my problem was resolved. Could be something as simple as that. I know that Bliz has a support page covering this…

Misbehaving bag addons have been known to exhibit this type of behavior - hiding stuff you know you have.
Well that’s the weird part about it because I never had this issue before and it only happens on my warrior. My other toons do not have this problem at all and its making my confused honestly. Guess no fishing on this toon until its fixed.
do the UI reset as suggested above, and the issue will likely be fixed.
blizzard can’t fix issues which are local to your pc.
I am experiencing this same problem! Im fishing and the Grey items are going to my bag. but the good fish appear like they go into the inventory, but the icon wont appear in any bags. Im not real tech savvy to be deleting folders and redownloading stuff. sounds like thats the only option to fix this though
Im an idiot. one of my Bags wasnt opened up. once I opened it with all the others I could see all the good fish were in it. … at least I didnt start deleting files on my computer
