First wave of TWW beta invites?

Did I miss it? Or they haven’t send it yet?

Since so many people got automatic access to Beta through purchasing the x-pack, I don’t know if they are doing the random invites or if anyone is tracking them.

I definitely haven’t seen anyone mention it.

I signed up to get the beta invite but people around me haven’t received it either. While I know it’s probably random…

they may open randoms later, right now i see mostly people who have the epic edition plus people who were in the alpha. as with anything, it could change at any time.

Did you buy the early access epic edition? If not you may not get an invite.

I wanted to try the beta before thinking about buying. Definitely not pre-ordering so I guess I’ll have to wait for feedback after release.

Letting wallets grant Beta access is a bad idea

Beta invites take :heavy_dollar_sign::heavy_dollar_sign::heavy_dollar_sign: now :0

Thats not the point of beta its for testing and finding bugs not ooh look i get a free pass to ww without having to buy it.

They didn’t learn their lesson from MoP beta when the year locked sub contract was guaranteed

Using judgement on a beta client that isn’t fully tested yet is a bad decision

I would expect bugs, but I wanted to see if the gameplay, systems, and new game mode is interesting enough to be worth it.

In Dragonflight I just did the questing and each dungeon/LFR once for the story. By far the least I’ve played any expansion and I wanted to see if there was anything fundamentally better about War Within.

I think it’s pretty genius, really. Free money for blizzard!

They’re gonna keep testing the playerbase’s tolerance for monetization, and for as long as the playerbase is receptive to it, they’re gonna keep pushing further and further.

Don’t blame blizzard for anything where monetization is concerned. Blame your fellow player

I’d imagine that the pre-orders were considered the “first wave.”

Probably won’t be any invite waves since anyone can just buy their way into it.

I understand, but not everyone can throw 100$ for an expansion to get into beta.

Some people with their “bought” beta just want to use it for early access purposes. Those people usually leave after a short time. Invite waves will go out to replace those players whenever it seems necessary.

Not everyone who bought the epic edition will even try the beta. Some players don’t like to spoil the game for themselves, but they wanted all the goodies so they got the most expensive version.

I actually like testing. I was in beta for BFA and I enjoyed it. I reported every bugs I encountered. I like to be part of it, but the amount associated to beta is too much for me right now.

Why would anyone even want to play the beta?

We all were in the Beta for Azeroth; it lasted for two years until The Expansion That Shall Not Be Named™ released.

Let’s be honest with ourselves here; we aren’t getting in. You aren’t getting in if you didn’t buy the overpriced $90/$120 packs. If we do get an invite then it’s probably going to be the last wave.
