I’ve played Osrs more than I have played WoW and I’ve played since Wotlk and have never once been compensated for downtime, when the Tbow bug came out, WE GOT OUR XP/Gear Drops ROLLED BACK 2-3 HOURS.

Members recently got like what 2 days gametime for free because of the crazy server issues that’s the only time I can remember in the last 8 years we’ve been compensated but that was not scheduled.
Which games specifically, and what kind of, “compensation?”
At $15 per month (if you’re not smart enough to be on the 6-month plan that saves you $12 and comes with all kinds of free swag like mounts, transmogs, etc), WoW costs 50¢ per day, or 2¢ per hour.
Exactly how much do you think they owe you for 15 min of maintenance on the game for a World Server reset? Or 4 hours every Tuesday for regular maintenance?
They’d likely raise the sub fee to cover the CC fees and the salary for the extra staff making sure all the math worked out and everyone got compensated.
Do you really want to pay an extra $1 per month to make sure you get a refund of less than 50¢?
