Hi new to the game, noticed the servers are shutting down. In other games they compensate you for this kind of thing. Any chance we’re getting something from blizzard?

Lol it’s just a rolling restart, game will be back up in 10-20 mins. No compensation needed for such a short time

No, and weekly maintenance and hot fixes are discussed in the ToS. You will not be getting money for server maintenance, which is part of the deal. It happens once per week on Tuesday with longer maintenance when a new patch drops.

I don’t think you get anything from a shutdown. It’s temporary, the sub fee is very low & utility companies don’t do it so Idk why Blizzard would.
Just think of it as a break from the game and pvp with the rest of us on these forums is all I can suggest.

No they don’t. I’ve played “other games” and they have never compensated you for a restart.
The only way you get anything like that is when the game is down for a long time and it wasn’t planned.

Well, I’ve been playing since 2006 and have yet to ever receive any sort of compensation for shutdowns, even when Wotlk launched and I couldn’t log in for 3 days. There’s a first time for everything, but I doubt it.
Why do you keep on making the same name minus a i or a l? Than troll?

I meant more so that people cant use an endless supply of alts to spam bait posts. They only get to use 1 toon. And once it gets flagged x number of times the account is banned from posting on the forum.
