First time opposite faction

I am sure that many of you are playing your opposite faction than what you played back in Vanilla.

For me I played Horde in Vanilla and every expansion afterwards. Never played Alliance.

I’m more PvP oriented so Horde always spoke to me better.

This time I am going to play Alliance and it feels weird. Everything looks clean and well mannered lol. I am sure that since PvP will be across all servers that it will be balanced. But should I be feeling the uncertainty that I am of playing the opposite faction?

The reasons I chose alliance was due to some of the alliance only quest gear offered for some low level pvp brackets (I.e. Chassis of Westfall for a 19 Warrior is better than anything the Horde can find) as well as Paladin buffs for low level brackets vs Shaman.

So back to the original question. Should I be feeling uncertain when switching Factions for the first time ever? Should I take this uncertainty as a warning and switch back to Horde before I dedicate too much time to my Alliance characters?

EDIT: I should state that I am a very casual players with more focus towards having a farming main to fund my low level pvp characters.

My buddy is doing the same thing. What I told him was to embrace it… you have a chance to experience the game like it’s brand new since you have never done AC before. That’s something most people won’t get to do in classic since a lot of people have played both sides.

It’s not my first time playing Horde but it is my first time playing Horde as my main faction.

So far so good!

You have a chance to start fresh and bring memories but with a new faction, keep BFA as is and classic something different. Change is good.
