If you are a fan of most Final Fantasy games, I would say, check it out. You may enjoy it. It has a main story that you follow for the most part and you basically can level all the classes on 1 character. Music is really good. Combat is pretty good.

I usually wander around Boralus, cursing innocent NPC passersby about the atrocious state of lore development and the unacceptable writing surrounding night elves. A few of the NPCs are starting to talk back to me when I do this, and I grow ever more concerned that Blizzard is creating an adaptive AI to deal with dissent.

i’ve never played any, remembering them to be console games. the last console i owned/played was the sega genesis, lol. MORTAL KOMBAT!!
Beat up ivus and run normal>heroic.
Maybe mythic a month later if I feel like it.

Open cache, world quests and then cap islands.
we knew before the patch released that the raid wouldn’t come out till next week.
Long term goal of filling up my garrison with dwarf female followers so I swing by the inn each week. (If you’re curious, I have all dwarf followers. Just not 100% female yet.)
Old raids for mounts/transmogs.
Check world boss, check Battlefront boss. Recall how terrible classes are. Log off for 6days.

FFXIV is a love letter to FF fans. Combat is decent, a tad slower, but decent more fulfilled than current combat in wow and looks great. Music is pretty fantastic and can hit a lot of nostalgia points pretty quickly for all the Easter eggs it contains.

Mostly the usual stuff I do every day. Emissaries and Warfront WQs. Might do something that reset, might not. I usually tackle Islands later in the week.
Open 5 m+ boxes and 5 pvp boxes for scrapping/diaenchant materials, check LFG for rated bgs while doing my world quests…
Still need 100 more rating… And trying to save 3 of each paragon box for mythic open.
- Open my boxes.
- Use my racial as a Brooklyn Italian, which is +5 to profanity and ranting, and go off on a rant about how RNG is the bane of my existence.
- Log on to another character, and open my boxes.
- Repeat step 2.
- Do this a couple more times.
- Stew for a bit.
