First Pull In SV +11

Almost every SV +11 I join is a disaster on the first pull. Is this normal? The tank pulls the whole first hallway and then the group gets deleted despite my attempts to interrupt mobs. The amount of unavoidable dmg going out is insane. This just happened in a group of ppl that were more than qualified based on rating.

It’s a fairly standard pull. Your role is to make sure that YOU don’t die.

didn’t fear go off?

Fear didn’t go off. Interrupted Arcing Void. Group just got deleted. I’ve timed a fair number of SV +10’s. I doubt a +11 is that much harder.

just bad luck then. It’s a tight corridor.

This is the standard pull. Either healers are not keeping up with the Golem’s AoE or people are standing in the smaller unit’s charge.

You can line the stomp.
You can kick fear and arcing void.
You can crowd control the leaps (big circles on the ground), preferably right as they begin their jump to consume the cooldown, as well as increase overall dps/cleave.
You can decurse and dwarf the debuff.

Player issue.

The only truely unavoiable damage in that pull are the fallthrough curses, which you should just defensive once your initial dispels are used. In most keys only getting two decurses is a dispel priority.

Standard pull, if not a bit small honestly. You can do the trash to the first boss in 2 pulls.

Glanced at one of your SV10 logs and you don’t use HOJ, BL, BOP, or layhands a single time in the entire dungeon and have very low DR usage. You don’t take blinding light or hand of sacrifice (let alone 60s sac, which is one of the strongest externals available.) You can’t help what other people are doing, but you’ve got a lot of tools you aren’t using.

I did that pull by accident was planning to do only 2 groups but i guess either my kegsmash hit third group or they where to close and agro.I have used every cd and somehow managed to survive it but rest of group got deleted, not doing that again lol.

Tbf, Blinding Light is the worst aoe “stop” that exists since trash just immediately recasts afterwards and the disorient breaks immediately. It’s highly likely to overlap with someone’s interrupt and make the situation worse.

It can be a problem if group lead didn’t bring in a de curse or two.

I agree it’s the worst stop, but I’ll take 2-4 seconds more of cast time from the whole pack over nothing. Always best used after the actual stops have gone out and late in the cast bar(s). Can often give you just enough time for rebuke to come off cd. Half of these dungeons you don’t need cleanse or freedom, Improved layhands sucks, and Lightbearer is meh as hell outside of CoT, so there are plenty of utility points that can be shifted around. Do the best you can with the tools you have is my motto.

You have to not only interrupt but keep chain CC up while doing mega DPS and healing especially if you only have one dispel. It’s standard pull as others said but unless you’re doing a 12 or higher it’s absolutely not needed.

SV has actually a generous timer if ur group is good and you can easily get +1 by taking it steady.

It turns out in the offending groups, the tanks were aiming the rock golems at the party.

In +11s? lol
