Did the first incursion tonight and wow how underwhelming it was.
The only thing I liked was Alliance are in WM now which makes this interesting and fun.
But 4 WQ and then destroy a ship and then you get a piece of garbage gear not even AZ gear so I can’t scrap it.
Also I heard it gives way less XP than incursions in Legion.
What is the point of doing these again? For tokens for reskinned mounts (unless your alliance that moonsaber is sick)
There is zero incentive to do these.
I dunno I’m doing it for the Krolusk mount. /shrug

The mobs were pretty much pushovers too, they didn’t have that ‘still early in the expansion feel’ it was more like late expansion (gear) steam roll.
We had some evil horde camping the solo quest near the flight path and a annoying little 117 resto druid healing the mob you need to kill while the other horde killed you… just to be a scum bag but i managed to kill it eventually. Wish it was longer so i didnt feel like I had to rush to get it done on all my toons, also i cant access it on my alts that are leveling or have been leveling via island expedition cause its on the horde continent… shame you need 100 war resources to go to the other continent… gg
In Legion, I did Invasions on my many alts. I did one on a max-level toon, but the final scenario took way too long. But on alts, invasions were a great way to level. I did 5 alts at a time that way. Play for 15 minutes, get 1/3 or 1/4 level. Repeat each day.
I did my fist BFA incursion this morning. At level 113, I got 39% of a level, for doing 5 quests plus a end-thing that was no harder than another quest. I didn’t keep track of the time it took, so I can’t compare it to IE or questing for “fastest way to level”. But it was fun and the quests were like normal quests or WQs.
I can see where that would be a problem, for people who have warmode on (people that enjoy WPvP, that is).
For some of us the gear is pretty good. I get that a lot of people are well geared so no point in the doing them though.
I tried to do them, but the Alliance were camping flight paths so I said “@#$% it”, and now I guess I won’t be doing boring mediocre content that is rehashed content from past expansions.
There is no gear from incursions for leveling alts, just a pathetic amount of xp. What is perhaps more disgusting is all the self-generated hype about how much better the BfA incursions were. Not. Even. Close. Longer, more complicated and annoying, with meager results.
I did one and enjoyed it.
