What are your first impressions of Midnight so far?

Why is there so many quests that involve clicking tiny hard to see objects

Silvermoon is gorgeous, and the experience feels like leveling a blood elf for the first time again in both good and bad ways.

The spawn rates for some things is absolutely terrible, like that one where we had to get 8 pieces of digested stuff.

Love the storytelling so far and I’ve felt really drawn to 100% my questing this time. Had a good session tonight.

So far it’s holding up to what I anticipated. I’ve been longing to revisit an updated Quel’Danas and Eversong. A showdown between the forces of light and darkness, plus a house of my own. A few glitches and minor issues, and a pre-patch that was complete laziness on Blizzard’s part, but overall I’m pleased.

pretty much run of the mill, but then again blizzard usually doesnt botch the leveling exp in a new expansion, post level cap is where i am worried.

Loving it. Blown away by Silvermoon, and the Midnight intro quests felt a lot like Legion with some of the big/familiar names you come across. Really wasn’t expecting to get hooked the way I did, but it really does feel like rolling a Blood Elf for the first time again

My first impression is they’ve exceeded my expectations. Loving everything I’m seeing

I’m in the vast minority that can’t stand the homogeneity of Silvermoon. I don’t think I’ve ever cared about a quest hub capital city since Vanilla much aside from WotLK Dalaran. But that one I cared about because I liked it. This one I care about because I dislike it.

And I’m really glad this forum doesn’t have downvotes because I know this is an extremely unpopular opinion.

I was pleasantly surprised there were very few kill quest roadblocks considering everyone has to take the eversong treadmill before branching off. Still some, but overall it never felt like everyone was competing to get their 12 bear asses.

I’m bored

Went through the opening questline and got to Silvermoon.
Questline was decent
Silvermoon is amazing..love the size, the music, scenery. As a long time BE Player, it is like coming home to a new city.

Logged in around 30 mins after launch and had absolutely zero issues for the first time ever in a new xpac.

We will see what the leveling process looks like starting tomorrow.

Yes, I have early access and I’m not even playing. I’m bored.
Not sure what’s going on but I feel really burned out.

Seeing new Silvermoon makes me think in Last Titan there’s an all new Darnassus coming.

I am having a blast with it. Love Silvermoon’s look and feel, glad to see it repaired. Loved the intro quest, had fun with Arator and can’t wait to do it on some other toons.

Got sidetracked from main quest with a hunt for Fel Smugglers and that’s been fun.

All in all, happy with the game.

Struggling to care. I didn’t do any beta questing, just keys and pvp. Doing the quests and reading them as I go, and man I just am not enjoying it. Really don’t feel like I’m the target audience so far. Is what it is I guess.
Honestly with PoE league in a week I might put more time into it, and just come back to WoW later on.

i feel the same. trying to figure out what it is exactly, but everything feels super repetitive. dont get me wrong the art is beautiful, harandir stuff is amazing, its just…idk. maybe its too like together we save the world!-y, maybe the graphics are too cartoony now or maybe its way too much story, cutscenes and clicking items and not enough fighting. weird feeling as me and my friends have been so excited for every xpac for 20+years

This. It feels like leagues of improvement over TWW.

I’m a massive fan of the Amani as well- love their entire story, zone etc. I wish we had something akin to spiritborn from Diablo 4 for WoW so we could invoke the Loa but I know it’ll never happen. I’d re-roll a troll so fast. Brownie points if we get Amani– even if just the customisations for regular trolls (I have seen the regular models there in the zone so it might happen).

I’m enjoying myself. I’m not blown away by anything, but I’m having fun.

Silvermoon feels very expansive. I kinda wish Murder Row was a little less “sparkly,” but it is what it is.

The story line is, as pretty much everyone has said, kind of obvious. I suppose Blizz could spring a twist on us, but that seems unlikely given their past record. I can think of dozens of ways to improve the plot, but since it’s already written, I guess I have to take what I can get. (If I want an engrossing story, I’ll read a book.)

Hit 90, pretty happy.

Did Zul’Aman first. Did not like Zul’Aman (story, delves, or dungeons).

Everything else made the pain of that go away.
