So much fear and misinformation. Covid 19 is a virus. Just like the flu, common cold, AIDS, SARS, MERS, Swine Flu, etc. The list is endless. According to the CDC more children will die from the flu than covid. Do we shut down everything? Do we live the rest of our lives in fear and separation from others? Want to know the deadliest thing about this current pandemic? The Main street media and Democrats have hyped this so much that according to a recent Keest research report the average American believes that 9% of our population has died from covid. That is 30 million people. No wonder folks are in hiding and don’t want their children to go to school. What did you do when your children were exposed to the flu, common cold, etc? Did you panic then?

It takes 2-14 days for symptoms to appear. I don’t think it’s being suggested the student caught it from school, but more that on the first day, many people were now potentially exposed. Those in close contact with the student now have to quarantine for 14 days.

In regards to returning society back to normal, we need a vaccine.
Treating already sick hospitalized people is important but preventing further infection with a vaccine is much more important in the long run.

They are all virus! There will be no cure for this virus either. Best case is something like the flu shot which folks get yearly and the yearly flu shot is based on which variation of the flu CDC thinks will be around for the season. It is an antibodies shot. There is a lot of good information out there. Go read a while. Look at Sweden. They did not shut down. They protected the vulnerable and went about their daily lives. They achieved herd immunity and now won’t have to worry when the third and fourth waves hit. You need to pay attention to actual science. Even the CDC says send kids back to school.

In retail during corbin (because I can’t say the name in public), it’s still worse when people come in with a mask and leave without the mask. Now that mask that was on someone can be anywhere.
It was bound to happen.
Because there was never anything safer than containing 500+ kids in a cramped building for 8 hours each day.

Have a healthcare system that is based on profit, take away their elective procedures where they make that money then sign a stimulus bill that gives hospitals extra money for Cases and deaths.
It’s just a widespread lack of courtesy and consideration for others.

I mean, I KNOW why, there’s a guy on TV who told everyone for months that they shouldn’t, because wearing masks would mean he was wrong.

How about the increased stroke risk?
How about threats to male fertility?
The virus does a lot more to people besides kill some of them.

Since you mentioned the CDC, I guess I’m confused here - the CDC recommends social distancing and wearing masks in public. Dr. Birx has gone so far to suggest people living in hot spot areas wear masks at home if they show symptoms and live with people in high risk categories. None of that sounds like the flu or common cold.
Furthermore, I’m confused that this is a main stream media and Democrat pushed agenda. If that is the the case as you assert, and that is a known fact to the Trump administration, why are they recommending masks and social distancing? Certainly they’re not capitulating to media pressure and giving in so they don’t look like the bad guys when a bunch of people die? Because that would be pretty unethical, don’t you think?

Just like all other viruses, covid will be with us forever. It’s not going anywhere. The only thing to do is to treat the symptoms. There are several drugs that do that very well, but because they are hailed by the President, they are not going to be allowed to be used. Do you know how hard it is to get a prescription for hydroxychloroquine? In a lot of places, pharmacies will not fill the script. If something works for lots of doctors, why WHY is it not available (not forced, but just available if a doctor orders it) to all as a treatment? Needless deaths.
Who apparently control what happens in the rest of the world, too, which is the truly mind-boggling part of the conspiracy theory.
