What was the first class you ever created and did that class become your main?
Warrior and no. I was on Firetree and hated it. The community was toxic already and I SUCKED at being a warrior back then.
Then Brick was born… Hunter for life… well… till TBC then my pally became my second main.
I have ended up with 3 mains. Hunter, Pally, and Druid, with Monk becoming my go-to healer in BFA when I still played.
How fascinating! I have grown to love monk heals too!
Undead rogue was my first and my main until wrath then switched to my pally until I quit in cata. Plan on rolling a hunter first this time along with a priest. Not sure which will be my main yet.
Swes if you’re looking for a Horde guild, lemme know We’d love to have you!!
Thanks for the offer! I may take you up on it. I’m just waiting to see if some of my friends are going to start playing again for classic.
Yay!! Invite them too!!! Look us up for more info: Go Horde or Go Gnome. Just do a google search as we should come up.
I was quite surprised with your response btw - the classes you listed are all quite different from each other.
Warlock. And no. I had no idea what I was doing. I made new characters all the time because Vanilla was that fun. I don’t cling, but If I had to admit to a favorite character it would be Gutterstyle.
I’ll look it up. Thanks!
Yeah when I started I had no clue what to play so I got talked into the rogue. After a while I decided I wanted to tank some with the pally and enjoyed my hunter alt as well. I like to try all the classes which is why I’ll be rolling a priest this time too. It’s one of the few I have never tried.
First was a warrior. He was main all the way to Wrath where I swapped to mage. Swapped to this guy in MoP and he was my last main.
Hunter and yes. I was naturally good at it from the start.
That’s quite impressive, relatively few changes.
My first was this guy, i forget which server I started on, who became my main. My second was a orc shaman on spinebreaker, as thats where my IRL friends decided to play. He was my second most played in vanilla.
Warrior, nope, too hard to level back then, I switched to self healing tank Paladin, then again to another self healing tank Death Knight lol
i rolled a pally up to level 30-40 or so and deleted it. i cant remember what race it was though i think it was a human pally cause i remember the grey goatee and the bald head.
it was soooooooo boring.
so then i rolled a night elf priest and healed up to a little into bwl.
then i mained a female gnome warrior tank (with pink pig tails of course).
ive switched alot of “mains” over the years but always find myself coming back to warrior.
Druid, and yep!
Over time though, I rolled Paladin, Rogue, Hunter and so on. Tried and level a bit of everything. Like the Rogue the most, put my Druid on alt duty after 60 and focused on Rogue.
Then come next expansion and I went back to my Druid and focused on him only until level 90 content. Then went back to Rogue. This time around, it will be Rogue all the way.
I’ll make 1 to start, and if I make another character, it will be another Rogue on opposing faction - PvP realm.
Then again, I wish I focused more on my Rogue during my prime - this Druid carries all the PvP achievements and titles I would have loved on my Rogue.
Started on a Druid in Dec 2005, after 3 months re-rolled on a different newly opened server as a Lock, this character has been my main ever since.
By the time I quit playing alts at the beginning of Legion 5 of my 16 level 100s were Warlocks, with a couple of others around level 80.
Mage was my first character, Hunter was my first 60, and this Paladin was my main throughout Vanilla and all the way to Cataclysm where I switched because I loathed that they gave me holy combo points as a mechanic.
Shaman is my intended main for Classic right now.
Pally was my first toon, this was my second and first to 60 when I figured out that prot was garbage
