You clearly don’t see the potential that breaking the 3 role system has for presenting new and interesting gameplay.
Like the consistent complaint that people put forward with this game is that the classes all feel the same and that the content feels the same; Support classes have the potential to change that and to me that is both amazing and absolutely worth expanding upon instead of just burying it because the one attempt that they’ve hade with it has done weird things with “the meta”.

It’s not an assumption when you’re oblivious to how negatively Aug has affected the game that you actually thought it would be a good idea to add even more.
And we’re removed for good reasons (aside from range survival)
And 4 roles would present a more sophisitcated gameplay expierience for players.
I mean, it has (as evidenced by your salt) due to how it doesn’t really fit into the conventional meta and has had a buttload of nerfs associated with it’s release (and directly to it)
Can you add or rework talents/pathing for all the other neglected specs before adding more specs please
The druid class tree, for example, could use like 40 more arrows. And maybe MM could get more talents baseline so they don’t have to sacrifice 15% of their ST to run an AoE build.
