The Alliance will almost assuredly be the faction to canonically raid Azshara, meaning that if Thalyssra bites it, she bites it to save Alliance characters

Yeah I hope so. She just needs an entire raid team to beat the old god whispers out of her. I mean a character can be a raid boss with out being killed off for real.

If the alliances version is Umbric i will prepare for massive dissapointment, even if it offers a glimmer of hope.

Losing Thalryssa and Umbric would be a god damn travesty, but it will make it easier for me to beleive thally might survive.

So thally will only be corrupted on mythic but it is 100% gonna be thally.

Maybe they will replace her with an Alliance character in a later build for the alliance raiders which would point to both surviving but yeah, it would sucks if she dies.

Jaina and Garrosh turned out fine. And I get “Oh, they’ll obviously kill a Horde character,” but I think going straight to that is a little too nihilistic.

I’d put money on Thalyssra and Umbric coming out of this alive. Just pummeled for loot.

Umbrics not there, it’s solely Thally, and Garrosh was only not killed because Varian and a Panda stopped us from killing him for reasons i’m still not sure about.

If Thalysra dies then they probably won’t be giving the Nightborne a new leader. Though if that’s only in mythic then she will probably survive. I doubt they’d kill her in a difficulty that most players won’t see.

I mean in the Alliance version, assuming these rumors are true. I doubt they’ll kill one and let the other live.
