Well done, i also run without any combat assist addons, but i stick to the kiddy end of the pool (M+ 10’s for vault and some heroic raids). I think as things currently stand, you’re doing yourself and your team a disservice if you go much further without them, because you’ll likely never be as good as you can possibly be if you were all kitted out with addons like everyone else, that’s just my 2 cents though.
I’m looking forward to seeing challenging WoW content that’s created with the combat addon free future they have in mind, it should be interesting at least!

Bro you make things so out of proportion.
We don’t even have skittish affixes to worry about what mobs do now.
That is when you actually needed plater.
We have a dumbed down version of the game to play without addon.
This affix : Skittish made enemies fixate on random players, which was frustrating and difficult for tanks to manage, as they were unable to consistently hold threat.
Please don’t let elitist convince you that this game we have now. Was anything compared to few expansion ago like Legion or bfa.

Skittish, necrotic, 50 explosives at a time, omg only the ogs remember teeming literally adding mobs to the count lol. but somehow the game was better imo. Not because of the affixes, but because there wasn’t all the spike dmg and one shots. Timers were the hard part, but we could pull half a dungeon
Are you actually going to congratulate him for doing content at its easiest when things were way way worse few expansions ago.
You are actually not helping him because he should be able to do this content without addons.
Back then we had affixes and boss damage.
Did we forget the week when blood dks were literally choosing NOT to do weekly due to such damage ?

I’m also a supporter of playing without addons, but I do realize that I’ll have to train myself to keep track of my focus — most likely, in the next expansion there won’t be any alerts when the focus starts casting.

He does these dungeons for few days. He won’t need any addons. You can count abilities on your finger tips which are one shotters.

It is kind of condescending when Elitists patronize players for doing content when game has really dialied down the level of difficulty in comparison to when game was heavily impossible to finish without addons or weak auras that helped us time our defensive with affixes coming up.
