Hello all. I just crafted a Firestorm legendary ring last night. I tested it for hours and it has never procced. I even streamed to my buddies on discord and had them watch for me and nothing. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Try a weakaura. I crafted it on my mage, ran a dungeon, and thought it never proc’d. A weakaura shows that it actually procs pretty often. Unfortunately there’s no great visual built into the game to show when it procs (Pyroblast will glow on your action bar, but it’s the same glow from Hot Streak, so you never notice it going off).

I appreciate the advice. I have weak auras installed and nothing…There is also a buff time I should be getting when it procs but I get nothing. It literally never procs. (Btw I am the OP just didn’t have mage selected).

Try this weakaura. It’s adds a visual like Hot Streak for when it procs. I think you’ll be surprised how often it happens when it’s more in your face.

I will try it when I get home. Shouldn’t the proc trigger a little timer icon as well though?
The glow in the above weakaura fades when the visual appears, indicating how much time is left on the proc.

Have you used Firestorm the last couple of days without trouble?
I think its bugged for some reason ever since the castle nathria released patch. I reported it to blizz already but havent gotten any reply yet. Just report it as well so devs will take notice the more player report on it.
I run on mythic before and it procs like every other trash mob pull. After the patch though, it only procs every other boss which is insanely low. Meaning from procing on every other pull to i consider it extremly lucky if i get 3 procs per dungeon run.
Either its a bug or blizzard stealth nerfed it.

Yup. I’ve even had it proc back-to-back in dungeons over the last 2 days. I had 3 immediate procs for one pull, even.
Exactly what I was coming to the mage forum for. It’s been so distracting watching for it to proc. A weak aura is perfect.

Edit: it’s not a bug. It procs a lot it’s just hard to notice it. I thought the same thing at first.
