Firestorm is honestly pretty cool, but there are a few issues.
1: snapfire proc condition, add disintegrate to it
2: doesn’t work with causality
3: Opportunity cost is too high due to 2 point talents such as volatility. The solution here is simply to reduce or straight up remove 2 talent points.
4: duration is too long, reduce the duration to 6 seconds, condense the damage in a smaller window or even better, keep the duration but it’s cast on target and it follows it.
5: make it proc essence burst with a higher proc rate. Around 30% chance, guaranteed during dragonrage.
Also, both ruby embers and engulfing are trash and should be removed and replaced with something a little more interesting/less intrusive.
I’m with you 100%, but they seem pretty unwilling to make firestorm work.
I honestly don’t even think disintegrate needs to be added, they should just give burnout LF’s a 50% chance to proc it.

What about this.
Snapfire integrated into firestorm, firestorm is an ability that you can only use with the proc.
Like arcane missiles. Only that there is no channel, it’s just insta cast.
Benefits from causality.
This would make firestorm a powerful proc, instead of an ability that you cast but also has a proc. It would also reduce it’s cost by 1 point, and in general make it a very attractive option that also feels really good to play.

Yeah I mean there’s a lot they could do with it.
I’d prefer that snapfire just made it follow the target like ravager, adjust the damage for the removal of the reset, and call it a day.
