Flamechanger (Talent): changes your blue spells to red.
Just that would unlock a bunch more options without having to change much, and it would make pure fire builds viable.
Could also make it to where firestorm has an additional debuff applied to an enemy if it is the only enemy in the firestorm. This would also increase engulf damage with flameshaper
No thanks, that makes iridescence half as valuable, removes a guaranteed slow from blue spells, and makes silences/spell lockouts punish us far more.
I don’t see how this would go anywhere toward making red builds more viable, it just removes the tiny amount of flexibility we currently have.
Firestorm just needs to be a baseline spell that procs off of Fire Breath (25% chance to proc per rank so rank 4/TTS gets more power), and make it work like ravager to follow mobs when it spawns.
Changing all blue spells to red effectively nerfs devastation.
It’s just an idea. Something to run with that would change things up. I don’t claim to be on the balance team, but a full fire build without irredesence is something I’d like to have a viable option for.
I hate having to go irredesence all the time. Why provide the option of buffing red spells with talents when blue gets almost all the love.
Legitimately just theory crafting. It’s not black and white yes or no this would suck this would not. They have the option to completely change the kit to be viable.
