FireStone Warlock Phase 2

Alright so hear me out. You spec Demonology all the way down to soul link, taking improved firestone and 4/5 Master Demonologist. Succubus is the demon you use.

For runes:
Chest - Demonic Tactics: 10% crit for you and your succubus
Legs - Demonic Grace: 30% more crit for you
Hands - Metamorphosis: Makes searing pain instant, allowing you to weave it between melee swings
Waist - Grimoire of Synergy - flat damage bonus to you and your demon
ShadowFlame - an additional spell to weave between auto attacks that will do more damage than searing pain

For this build, you will wield a fast main-hand weapon with your firestone in the off-hand.

As for other items, this is your stat prio: strength > spell power > agi > int

thoughts? (Yes, I am inhaling a whole bunch of copium)

Maybe if they gave it armor or made it replace wand instead of offhand.

As long as its offhand it will never be viable with the way SOD gear is going, even wands will end up replacing its base fire dmg at higher levels i am guessing

You get the armor from meta anyway. And besides, this is meant to be a dps build, not a tank build

I would LOVE Firestone to work and Spellstone as well, given their nature.

There should have been a Rune for them to help the “melee” lock be a thing.

My hope is that we get something along the lines of either
“Your melee weapon ‘chance on hit effects’ make your next Soul Fire instant cast and not cost a soul shard”
or
“Gain melee attack power equal to your spell damage”
