looks like they deliberately missed the 31st of october release, pretty smart, a 31st of october firelands release would have been a bullet

According to article just a graphics update.
the Rage of the Firelands update arrives on October 29, followed by the Firelands Raid on November 7.
The Rage of the Firelands content update will burn an indelible mark in Azeroth’s history. it states that the dungeons arrive on the patch day the 29th, otherwise they would have mentioned it having a separate release date

This was the plan originally, we knew it would be around this time.
They also mentioned the accelerating content delivery if necessary, which was indeed required, but they did not follow through.
