So we know we need them to upgrade items and thats great and all but otherwise they have no use and you will find yourself shortly just with a ton of them that you will need to just delete which I think is an oversight. I feel there should be a vendor at Thorium Point added that you can use them for exchange for lesser items or other uses.
Such as turning in a bulk for rep if you are still behind or trading them in for Water, Ammo, Dark Iron Ore etc. Maybe a turn in of 50 or more for a Blood of the Mountain etc. Otherwise they rot and have no use what so ever and that kinda sucks

Yeah I already have 200 of these things and you only need like 40-50 of them for all the crafted pieces.
There’s so many things in phase 4 that seem blatantly obvious yet Blizz completely missed them somehow.

I think 5-10 Embers for one Real would be good, since you generally get 10 for a group of dailies/incidentals

you’d think they would at least let you trade the embers for rep, or for crafting mats. zero chance i’ll have enough gold to purchase the base crafting item at any point this phase, so these embers are just sitting around wasting bank space for me

Yea, it would be an alternative, you dont wanna kill the incentive of dungeons so that’s a balancing act by making them TOO cheap. However 5 - 10 is about 1 extra a day from the set of dalies which is okay. But FOR SURE crafting mats should be purchasable by the Firelands Embers.
I agree, this would make the most sense, as many people are doing the Blackrock daily quests to gain reputation with the Thorium Brotherhood to buy recipes.

Sulfuron Ingot (This would need to be like 100+)
And no it wouldnt defeat the purpose of raiding to make a hammer because you only get so many in a day and you need a ton of mats to make it. It would take weeks upon weeks by just doing dalies alone.

Water (high grade)
Rep token: Thorium/Waterlords

Maybe they are meant for something later on perhaps? Why is everyone whining about things 2 weeks in every time a phase comes out?
Oh no im not whining, this isnt meant to whine but to bring to attention the issue of the currency usage outside of the BRD exchange. It would be a great idea to see them used for more adding more weight to the dalies and their value.
So it’s a suggestion post itself. Suggestions and feedback =/= whining.

That’s the point of the post. We have things eating up multiple inventory slots that are potentially really important for later but we have no idea. They also could/should be used for more mundane things currently than upgrading FR gear many of us may never touch.

If it was a day or two in then yea, it might be whining. However, after doing the dailies for two weeks and the amount that you get per daily and some that drop off mobs, we are getting to the point where the amount needed for everything a person might trade in has been passed by. It’s nice to do these dailies for gold to cover the costs of repairs and consumables if you don’t have much time to farm or didn’t exploit an earlier event (lol). But now we are getting another currency taking up space, and people are unsure if we should delete or keep. If we delete, then blizz does post something later, well we’re screwed for the ones we deleted. If we keep, they start to take up bag and bank space.
