see this is why we should learn to weaponize tornadoes/hurricanes lol but i kinda hope no one discovers how maybe ill be the one who invents it then the dark empire of the children of madness can take over the world
again whatâs labeled as âjerkâ is in the eye of the beholder⌠there is no true definition of it lol thus ⌠saying donât be one is like saying this taco is the best
Not what I asked.
I am asking you a specific question.
In your view, is that flag being used to promote hate and racism?
You wanted to peg me for saying âin my viewâ about that specific statement. I am wanting to know if your view differs.
Thereâs many things that could be considered being a jerk by just about everyone, whether itâs racism, insensitive comments, etc. Itâs really just common sense, or at least it should be.
It isnât inherently anything. Itâs an object that you give meaning to. If every person was born today, but we were born in this world, would we know that that was a racist icon? Would we care? The answer is an obvious no. So, the power and emotion that it evokes is all on you. It isnât a magical object, it isnât sentient. Itâs just thread woven together in a pattern. You choose to care about it.
So you are unwilling to give me your view on if the confederate flag is currently being used to promote racism and hatred?
I feel like its a rather simple question.
but that also is being based on emotion not logic
and just cuz someone crys racist or this is racism doesnât make it soâŚ
same with being âinsenstiveâ that by definition is emotion based not logic so thatâs in the eye of the beholder
unless you can define âjerkâ without it being a emotional trigger it has no real meaningâŚ
hell to me anyone who calls something âedgyâ is insensitive and jerk âŚbut that doesnât make it true lol thats just a view/opinion via emotion so ⌠its irrelevent
and its not common sense because its being emotional trigger by random ppl who honestly you may never see irl ever
The way I see things tyrannical morons have arose to power. We need massive reforms in every area. However without drastic changes immediately I donât see these reforms happening until 20-30 years from now when Gen Z is elected into public offices.
Iâll have to say, this is the biggest nonsense I have ever read.
Logic is king when it comes to this sort of thing. And yes, some calls of âracismâ arenât always true or even just. And of course what classifies as being a âjerkâ can be subjective. But there are just some things that people should know not to say, in real life or on the internet. On the internet there are no take backs. Again, logic.
Yeah it turns out that if you donât do anything to make a symbol, it doesnât become a symbol.
Meanwhile by your logic, Christians just really like the letter âTâ for some reason.
You edit your posts so many times, so rapidly, when I respond I respond to what ever you initially post.
Your initial question, which you didnât actually ask a question you made a statement
I clearly stated that itâs use was up for interpretation and has changed over the years. I also demonstrated how it means different things to different people. You then try to elicit a response of âyes, but it could be used as a racist iconâ, yes and so can skull masks.
This has been a thing since Social Media took off. lol
Companies often when they are considering a new hire, will in fact check Social Media outlets to see if there is something not so favorable in a candidates feed, and if found, will then not be considered for a job.
If you are working for a place and do stupid things and post them, donât be surprised if you are found w/o that job for any number of reasons.
Hence the phrase âDonât be stupid, stupid!â could most definitely come into play if you value your job/potential job.
I love that I grew up in the 80âs and 90âsâŚlol

Well, I donât respect or want your opinion. So, have fun with that. And if you donât enjoy my opinions or thoughts then simply donât respond to me. Itâs just as easy as that. BRO
You keep pushing the blame on others for seeing it as being a racist symbol, and not for people using it as a racist symbol.
I am not saying it could be used as a racist icon.
I am saying right now. It actively IS being used as one.
expect there is no true list of this things lol people just throw out this things and say they are this or that⌠its almost completely subjective lol I have yet to see any definition or guideline even include a real list of such things because honestly as far as Iâm concerned there is no such things just some ppl will complain about one thing then another another thing⌠its so long that even mods donât bother creating a real list in their rulebooks
There isnât an actual list because it should be basic logic to keep oneâs trap shut! lol Good lord.
So I googled this to see who it was.
No matter his opinion about George Floydâs death and what part his âcriminal lifestyleâ may have played in it, heâd have to be a complete idiot to post that to social media, especially as an executive.
OK, prove it. Prove to me that every single usage of the flag has been with a racist mindset.
If youâre going to make straw-man, bad faith points, I might as well too.
Like wise bud, so what is the point of saying this outside of failing to get a rise out of me?
You seem to be taking offense that I am pointing out the nonsense that is your opinion.
âHey guys, this flag which was originally racist, and is used to represent racist ideals, is changing from such an ideal.â
Your argument has no merit.
That is a goalpost shift, and choosing not to argue his points, but complain about him having an argument.
The claim was not every single instance, and bad faith arguments havenât been done.
