This class isn’t doing enough damage with its 2 button rotation from 60 yards range.
Why do people think it’s acceptable to call for someone to lose their livelihood because they don’t like something in the game?
This is assuming there’s a “mm hunter dev” and that they are the ones who make the decisions you disagree with.
Oh boy if every customer was able to fire an employee then we’d literally have no one working in the games industry anymore lol.
congrats, he is now fired.
Seems like you can’t handle multiplayer games when you get this upset where you call for people to be fired and exaggerate and say they use 2 buttons when a class may be a bit overtuned in one minor aspect of the game.
…and sent the DDoS ;_;
Chris, the MM hunter dev (the one guy) is now at his desk, with his coffee in hand wondering about his latest patch contributions. Way to give the poor lad an existential crisis, OP.
And now that’s he’s gone nobody will be able to nerf marksman until they find a new hunter dev. Do you know how long it takes to find hunter devs these days op? Way to go.
First of all the Decision to do something in the game is not made by a lone developer. Teams of people, have to look at everything before they make a change. Then the Directors and Producers need to sign off on the ideas that have been presented to the whole structured team.
The game is ran like a Movie, and to make a change of any kind it has to be studied carefully, I bet if 10 million complained about it, they might do something, but one forum post maybe got a laugh from a forum moderator…
Go to Drustvar dot com, and look at the top 20 specs for SS, 3v3 and BGB. Tell me how many MMs there are? Then ask yourself why there aren’t any. The reason is - good players know how to counter MM, bad ones come to the Forums anonymously to whine.
Mm hunter is the most played dps spec in all rating ranges in blitz. They may not be the #1 arena spec but they’re basically gods in battlegrounds right now.
wooooossshhhh
Being the most played doesn’t mean they are the best.
I am not saying they couldn’t use balancing, but that alone isn’t proof. Hunters are just fun to play.
I mean it’s a pretty darn good indicator if they’re the most played spec at the highest ratings. What kind of proof are you looking for?
As I have said many times; MM do very well in Random BGs against unorganized, inexperienced players. In competitive they fall off a lot, as good players, experienced players, know how to counter them. Popular and performing well in SS, 2v2, 3v3, BGB are 2 different things.
The nerfs came, along with buffs, and it basically feels the same. MM doesn’t do more damage to a single target than most specs and is shut down and killed by any half decent rogue or fury warrior that uses their instant mobility to glue to an MMs backside. Someones insecurities about there own performance when they see MM players doing well are likely due to MM range, because its range is best in game, its overall damage is middle of the pack, but useful if you let the MM stay at range. MM is a good spec, but the evidence suggests its not a great spec. 10 MM players above 2400 on Earth doesn’t sound OP to me.
MM hunters do get R1 titles, in RSS and 3s. I would encourage you to learn how that works before speaking on it again.
MM had representation in EU and while they didn’t win, they made it to top 8. Also, RMP being so overpowered that everyone at the top end of competitive gaming is playing it isn’t proof a spec is bad, or incapable of pushing high on the 3s ladder.
sounds like you might be speaking from experience here on that whole insecurities thing, eh?
If some of these changes are the result of careful studying, I have to agree with OP, unfortunately.
If they are mishaps overlooked from pve changes that affect pvp downstream, that’s more understandable, but they take so long to fix them sometimes.
Yeah I mean perma grip should be nerfed. And chains of ice spam. Nerf that too.
G3yni@ strikes again, and misses, yet again.
