I’m new to the class. Every once in a blue moon, when casting fire spells, my mage will set off some kind of brief pyrotechnic display, where little lazer-beams of flame zap out and hit multiple targets. What causes this? I cannot find any talent or ability that describes what I am seeing.
This is probably Wildfire on one of your Azerite armor pieces.

But Wildfire’s animation affects players not enemies, and I have no idea what she is describing. I never notice what OP is describing when I cast Combust. Plus she would have to only be casting combust to notice it. I do agree you could be noticing an azerite trait not associated with our normal spells, but which one exactly I am not sure. You do know what ignite looks like right? Is it Conflagration you’re noticing? This is why people say post on your characters cause you’re a rogue and I can’t help you lol.
