Fire question - gear related

Hello

I have been running frost for a while now and I play it fairly well but I"m just kind of bored and I’ve always liked fire. My big question is how significant are the bracers for fire? Could I switch now and still have fairly strong dps while I work on getting the bracers or should I stay frost until I get them?

I have an Azshara’s Font of Power that I’ll switch to when I go fire but I read it’s trash for frost so I’m not currently using it.

Hyperthreads are worth a lot. Fire is playable without, since they’re only used for your opener/combustion cycles. However, if you don’t have 3x Blaster Master and at least 1 Firemind or Wildfire, I’d stick to Frost for now. That’s where I’m at currently, hoping for some RNG gods to bless me this week.

For perspective, my 420 and 430 azerites with BM/FM/WF sim higher than 450/460 azerite, it’s really that important.

Your balefire will combo well with the font for fire though.
