I’m curious about this too, I just went with a random build trying to focus on aoe with chain lightening for the event/leveling. But now I need a solid build for df leveling plus pvp and raid finder, what’s good about your build?

I would not recommend ice fury like at all and primal elems with magma chamber but for pvp. Coz you may ez kill elem and u have to wait for chamber buff to stack but we wanna here and now
I was just trying to play my elemental shaman they took all the abilities away…how do I play fire…I don’t want to play lighting…and it hits like a wet noodle?
Lightning crits hit very hard, harder than LvB can by 50% infused with stormkeeper.
Lots of talents in the general shaman tree also benefit lightning dmg & nature crit while there is only a 3% increase to fire dmg… pitiful. Will also be picking up the lightning build talents naturally for gust of wind / thunderstorm.
Recommend Crit focused for this build and using elemental blast > stormkeeper combo.
Feel free to look my build over if you are curious (ignore the chain heal / neck legendary just was doing some testing).
My build for pvp puts constant sustained pressure on single target. Very little down time once you get the first LvB or 2 off. Little set up
time like a Lightning build.
Keep in mind I’m using the legendaries and covenant ability for pvp which translates to the lvl 70 build I’d use.
Why Ele Blast instead of Earth Shock . If you get interrupted during casting Ele Blast , you are locked out of every school and you have nothing
You aren’t hard casting ele blast regularly. You use it with Nature’s Swiftness when you are going for your burst combo.
If you do need to get the hard cast off, Spiritwalker’s Grace 5 sec immunity also does the trick.

Nature’s swiftness is only a Resto spell right … can’t find it in the Ele tree

I prefer meatball spec. I never cared much for Stormkeeper.
To put it in a way if you know ur gona get focused an arent confident in handling the burst run meatball build.
If you are able to free cast Stormkeeper.
Sounds simplistic but you can improve urself from there an see what sticks.
