Fire or Arcane?

Which is better visually and more fun?

Completely subjective but arcane is visually orgasmic especially in aoe with all the orb barrages popping out. The new rework has also made the rotation more fluid and fun.

I prefer Fire with the living bombs popping and stuff and I just generally prefer Fire Magic in games, but since the lowest my ping can go in this game is 180ms, it’s not exactly the best experience, so I will stick with Arcane.

Play both, that’s what I do because I hate frost, it’s such a boring spec.

Arcane is definitely more visually appealing, but I prefer Fire for mobility (almost entirely instant cast) and for Cauterize being a godsend. Granted, Flamestrike AoE will never not be clunky because they refuse to let us choose a targeted option over the dumb reticule/@cursor macro.

I think they’re both visually appealing, but I find Arcane to look better and play more to my tastes. I play Frost primarily and Arcane sometimes. I rarely play Fire, but I will probably try it again with the new expansion.

I’ve always loved arcane and it will be my main for tww.

Visually I think arcane is more exciting. Fire has well, a fiery color palette. Orange / yellow / red etc. Arcane has a more fun and eye-catching color palette for its spell effects with purple / blue / white. I also think that spellslinger specifically in TWW looks really cool.

More fun I’ll also say Arcane. Fire is only fun when you’re in your combustion window, and while you can take some talents to make that a pretty short CD, you’re not doing a lot of damage during that downtime and it’s not particularly engaging.

Sunfury Arcane, best of both worlds! It’s what I plan to play in TWW.

I wish they would just let FS be cast at target
