As the post says we should get some sort of base damage scaling to all our fire spells, also ignite should be proc by any of our fire spells not just by some specifically chosen spells like our mastery describes, I know it might sound like a lot but they can tweak the numbers not to be too crazy, I feel like the direct damage from our spells being only affected by intellect and versatility makes us feel like underdogs, overall warlocks/shamans do much more damage than us in aoe and directly because of the way their mastery scales, pretty much arcane spec has this issue solved by affecting all arcane damage, the same thing can be said for frost mage.
I like this idea. Fire feels pretty weak outside of Combustion. By making Fire’s mastery increase damage, it would up the value of mastery and still give the big Ignites the spec needs.
