Fire mage macro

Hi all,

Anybody have any insight if the following can be done with the API?

We want to stagger combustion usage in AQ to maximize ignite uptime.

We will have 2 imp scorch mages out of our 4-5, one pyroblast who has 8 piece t2, and then a couple mages with imp flamestrike for stronger aoe for trash depending on who is on.

Is there a means to make a macro to help stagger combustion usage?

Something that sends a tell when a mage uses combustion to the next mage and then something that sends another tell after the buff is gone so the next mage can know when to pop their combustion if ignite is getting close to falling off?

We will be using weakauras in conjunction with this to monitor ignite uptime and imp scorch uptime.

In before somebody criticizes min/max behavior. Fire is a team sport and this will make it more fun.

There is no in-game macro that can accomplish that. Retail weakauras 2 wouldn’t have an issue notifying chat when certain conditions are met but I haven’t played classic and I’m not sure what the addon’s limitations are there.

If it works the same, you’d just create a standard aura that activates when your combustion is expiring with an action that posts a message to chat, like: “Mage 2, go.”

Thanks. I believe WA2 should work in classic like that since it’s built on Legion’s API.
