I support this. Glyphs were a major fun factor and now it just feels like they don’t care about that aspect of the game anymore.
It KINDA did. Devs got rid of it because they called it “throwing a puddle at an enemy”.
Nah, I think your outfit would go pretty hot with it.
Unfortunately the forums here would be considered an echo chamber. Not sure how many people ignored this thread already, but I’m sure there are a few.
We just have to keep it top of mind. And like others suggested, I think the glyph route is the best way to implement this.
Also, give us a fun quest line to unlock the blue flames. Give us some cool lore behind how we have uncovered a new way deep within the dragon isles to make our flames even hotter using primalist magic or something like that.
That would be akin to fel abilities, which is the polar opposite school of magic that mages use (arcane)
That would be akin to shadow abilities, which is a spell school mage do not use.
There is a reason, you’re just not going to like it.
Blizzard is lazy, like astonishingly lazy.
Yeah only there is an entire race called void elf who can be mages and already have limited void spells…so yes we can and should be able to use purple even if its a glyph restricted to void elfs.
void magic (aka shadow magic) is not just used by void elves It used by:
- warlocks
- death knights
- Shadow priests
Really, play Arcane you’ll get all the blue and purple you need. You just need some flare.
Exactly, so your point of not letting mages use it is stupid…because void elfs CAN be mages hence my entire point. So you can use that emoji on your own original comment.
Nope, not enough.
You make no sense.
Glad you dont cus when the devs read this they’ll see that restricting purple void color from mage is dumb.
I have a transmog that is the primal elementalist blue color with blue Felo’Melorn on my fire mage, it would be nice to have blue flames match my transmog.
I wish blizzard would do something to alter colors of spellcasters.
Blue, as in frostfire, would be great, as would the purplish shadow flame.
Of course, you would have give the other Mage specs a different colour option too, like green (to match their envy from not being a Fire Mage).
Please dont give blizz any idea, Pretty soon we will have purchased Glyphs for every class and its gonna get really bad.
Glyphs are pretty much discontinued, so dont hold your breath.
