What percentage are we looking at? I’m stacking haste and versatility and I’m getting anxiety watching my crit go down.
I’m so used to it being that we needed to stack it.
Depends on your legendary. with Disciplinary Command you don’t want much. With Fevered Incantation, crit = haste.
Only ilevel 187, and crit is 27%, vers is 14% and haste is at 17%.
I’ll be running Triune Ward.
Sounds like you’re going for pvp then. I think you need a certain amount of haste in order to get certain cc chains, but a better pvper than me would have to tell you that lol. I almost beat an afk player in a duel the other day.
For PvE, on this lego, Haste/Vers is fine.
For PvP I have no idea.
Triune is for pvp, so I’m assuming ur going to for pvp, you just want haste/vers. All your damage is during combust and haste lets you throw more fireballs to get bust back faster as well as fit more spells into bust windows. Vers will just help you live/do dam. Crit is virtually worthless in pvp along with mastery.
With that being the case, will I still perform well in PvE?
With Triune Ward as your legendary?
Outside of some use in a progression environment, you’re going into PVE handicapped with that as your legendary. Depends on the content you want to do I suppose. If questing, non-keys dungeons, and lfr is your thing then you’ll be fine.
Generally on raid or m+ progression, you’re better off going for offensive legos. Mages are good at pre-emptively avoiding damage with their survival kit, and really this massive shield is an extreme overkill.
It’s okay for general open world PvE though, and in Torghast it doesn’t matter.
This made me chuckle. Not because I’m better, I just know your pain
You’d be hard pressed to be worse than me at pvp lol. I’ve made my peace with it!
