Fire Mage Changes

So I’m a newish Mage and a bit confused.

Fire Mage is getting a +20% fireball increase, +15% fire blast, and +5% pyroblast
but in PVP - 15% Fire blast and - 5% pyroblast.

Wouldn’t the simple math mean that Fire Mages are getting a +20% Fireball increase in PVP with nothing else being changed?

  • [With regional restarts] Fireball damage increased by 20%.

  • [With regional restarts] Fire Blast damage increased by 15% in non-PvP Situations.

  • [With regional restarts] Pyroblast damage increased by 5% in non-PvP Situations.

So the other buffs to Pyroblast and Fire Blast are in PvE but not PvP.

Ok thank you, I wanted confirmation since everyone is saying fire was nerfed today.

These are people who cannot read. Fireball (and therefore tinder) was buffed 20%, otherwise unchanged in PvP.

Fire’s total dps in pve was buffed about 7%
