Bro just literally stands there not attacking. I use one of his castables, he uses it then goes back to being afk.
Yes all his abilities are set to autocast.
Not sure if this is just a sporadic bug or actually triggered by something.
I haven’t encountered this problem personally, but as far as I can tell this has been a long standing issue with Ele. From what I can tell, it started with Primal Elementalist and was related to Earth Ele/Fire Ele abilities.
Long story short, I at least believe there is potentially some kind of issue with talents like Primordial Bond that remove the “taunt” from Earth Ele. Since I have not encountered I can’t say for certain, but I believe there might be some weird bug that Primordial Bond turning off Taunt perma is interfering with Fire Ele being able to cast.
I would at least try ditching Primordial Bond and seeing if that fixes anything, this is all assuming auto cast is on like you mentioned and your pets aren’t set to passive.
I don’t even get pet bar anymore for my primal elementals. Ever since launch. I’ve tried looking at everything.
I thought this is just life now. Am I wrong?
I also don’t get the pet bar despite having the Primal Elementalist talent selected, but at least my Fire Elemental deals damage when it is summoned.
In your Lightning bolt macro and Lburst and all of them really have a /petattack macro in them as well and will attack like normal.
I had the same issue. while your fire ele is out, make sure the attacks are highlighted to auto attack. they should have a sparkly border. once I figured that out it attacks ever time I use ascendance.

I’ll check it out later today, but I wasn’t seeing it last week when I was leveling my shaman and using Ascendance pretty often.
