Just watched a video about this form being released to everyone in the barbershop. Is it true or am I living in a fantasy? Can I stop running firelands for the 100,000th time?
Its currently unlocked for night elves in beta if you have the transmog for the staff unlocked. They are still implementing things for the other races. I am not sure what the races are getting things at different times in the barber shop, but thats whats happening. For example, i cant do my travel form or flying form either as a tauren, but i can on a night elf.
It’s working for Kul Titans and Worgen as well. As long as the staff dropped for you at any point in your WoW life, you’ll have the fire cat appearance available at the barbershop. I vendored my actual staff years ago and still have the fire cat appearance available.
Did see it for trolls on the video as well. He said that even if it never dropped, you’re getting the fire cat form. I didn’t see it in ptr though.
If you’ve run that raid 99,999 times, you have the staff appearance on your appearance tab. That’s what it’s supposed to be linked to. Start by looking there.
The toy will remain a toy, as near as I can figure.
