I want to get the general feel on how everyone feels about the talks about them making the fire cat a default form. I know myself and plenty of others than spent months farming for it, so i can understand the reluctance to just make it a giveaway to all druids, but at the same time, i understand that it is an absurd drop rate, and some people still haven’t got it.
I don’t want to see it handed out to everyone. I spent months farming that bad boy.
I do want to see it given modern day animations though.
I’m happy to see it happen, it never should have been locked behind a toy for Druids.
I wanna see it’s model upgraded however for 2020 standards.

I will only accept it being given out to everyone if the Werebear form is given out to everyone as well. It’s the same argument.

Except it is. People had to work to get the Werebear form. People had to work to get the firecat form.
Yet one is far more difficult than the other.
Werebear was hard for some, fire cat takes no skill and/or effort to acquire other than logging in once a week.
So no, the comparison has no leg to stand on.

I mean you are wrong so we are pointing it out?
How is running it weekly for possibly months - years not dedication?
Some people can’t handle being told no and think they’re entitled to mage tower appearances when they actually aren’t.
Because the item will always be there, available for everyone.
You don’t have to work hard to get it and it’s an easy item to get.
Werebear people worked hard, it was difficult for some and provided skill.
Knowledge of your spec, the right gear, tank knowledge, etc etc.
That is real dedication, not going in and one shotting a boss every week.
So, I ask you again. Should Ashes and Invincible be given out to everyone then? Their content is even older and easier than the Firelands.
Ashes and invincible is pretty much handed out like candy with a drop rate of 1.7% and 1% respectively.
Neither of those mounts are special anymore.

Just because they’re adding Fire Cat to the Barbershop doesn’t mean its available to everyone. They’ll do the same way they do the artifact and glyph forms, once you unlock them then they become available account wide. If you haven’t collected the Seed Pouch yet, you don’t get Fire Cat.
