But between all these quests and reputation it’s taking so long…

I don’t mind the rep grind. I think rep grinds have always been a thing (the mounts in BC that you had to grind for?)
Grinding for rep isn’t my issue. I don’t mind that. THAT’S not a problem.
What IS a problem is only being able to grind so much content before “oops! that’s it, you’re done for the day!”
What I want to see is them put rep gains back into doing dungeons and quests, put DAILIES out in the world, not just world quests (which they did in the new zone sort of) and give us something we can farm to kill for rep, even if it’s only 2 or 3 rep per kill.
That sort of stuff was better, and we weren’t stuck behind some ridiculous time gated crap.
EDIT: REP from Mythic+ would 100% make mythic+ more worth it to do imo.

Yeah, we had months.
But we also have a ridiculous amount of other things “to do” and sometimes, especially if your IRL is hectic, things like rep grinding fall behind.

well it took 2 and half months to get revered on all of those rep for pathfinder 1 using human toon then I unsubbed till part 2.
Yet, here you are.
Look, I play classic too, but don’t make it seem like it’s God’s gift to gaming.
Everything is optional in BfA too. No one is forcing you to do world quests, or to even grind reputation. Classic still has rep grinds where gear and mounts are locked behind them.
All I’m saying is that nothing is mandatory in BfA.

Feels so good being told I can’t tank in end game as a Paladin. Those options are endless!
yeah i recently finished the grind after months of on and off WQs. what an absolute chore.
So um you are doing the same things you can do in WoW… Also the list doesn’t go on and most of what listed is filler content at best.

i was unsubbed for several months at a time, so yeah i missed a lot of emissaries.
You can tank fights without a taunt swap, and if you convince your guild/group to let you. Not everything should be viable for all content.
Retail is almost entirely filler content, and you are forced to continue to do it forever if you actually care about gear… which is somewhat irrelevant outside of ilevel and trinkets.

100% serious… every class has situational strengths and weakness based on their skill set and class fantasy. Paladins can’t tank fights with a taunt swap but they can pull and poop on packs of undead mobs.
i’m happy classic exists for you guys, i truly am. i’m glad retail doesn’t give you an iwin button at the character selection screen.
