Finished campaign but im only 77 did I mess up?

I am done with the campaign but I’m only level 77. Is that intentional?

Yes. You will not ding 80 with the campaign quests alone.

Probably should do some side quests, dungeons and delves.

On the other extreme, I’m at 77 and am on only in the early parts of the second zone. There’s a huge amount of exp out there if you start poking around.

I’m the exact opposite. I’m almost level 73 and still haven’t finished all the first zone quests. Figure I’ll just do them all that way I can ding 80 early and get gold instead of exp.
