Fingers of Frost as Fire Spec (FrostFire)?

Am i missing something here? Getting fingers of frost procs but cannot get ice lance spell?

Yup happens to me too. Best is when FFB randomly changes to Frostbolt in the middle of a fight and you can’t hit the button because it considers Frostbolt unlearned lol.

I assume you have the Energized Barriers Mage talent and Imbued Warding Frostfire talent. When getting struck it will proc a FoF charge that you can’t use. I’d recommend putting

/cancelaura [spec:2] Fingers of Frost

into a macro to get rid of the annoying aura in Fire.

I can confirm Fingers of Frost is still proccing for Fire mages.
