No it doesn’t? still about 15 or so an upgrade
unless you’re talking about season 2 when they first introduced them, when they made them currency in season 3 they broke it up

Which I need sparks for now, Acuity isn’t the gate for leveling (Knowledge Points on the other hand hand are a whole other story…)

It’s in the employment contract of every new hire on the WoW team that they get to design their own currency.

There are also a few Pseudo Currencies (taking item slots):
- Radiant Echo: for the worldsoul events.
- Radiant Remnant: for the Spreading the Light Hallowfall events.
and likely a few more I’m forgetting about.
Crafted PvP gear (without any reagents) is PvP ilvl 613, Honor 626, WPvP 636, Conquest 639.
WPvP gear is excellent at season start, and in TWW they seemingly have no set bonus anymore (nerf).
And I don’t know if it’s intended, but it’s very easy to get crafted gear to pvp ilvl 639 and pve ilvl 603 with just 2250 honor.
