To be as short as possible, I don't like coarse/crass adult humor. Some gore in a role play or a parody of an elementary schooler's toilet humor is one thing, but about the time we hit middle school, I don't want to hear it.
Unfortunately (for me), the rest of the world is moving towards accepting this humor or conversation style and enjoying it. Now, I don't fault anyone for building the spaces they want to be in. I just want to be able to enjoy my lifelong hobbies of fantasy, gaming, and role play in a space with out these influences I can't escape IRL, too. It's getting tougher and tougher to find spaces that I'm comfortable in. I feel a bit ostracized in my own culture and subculture.
I've thought about trying to run my own Community which is meant to be a social group with no particular focus other than ... what would you call this, being "family friendly"? ... but I'm not really sure there's going to be enough interest. Frankly, I have been afraid I'm going to be mocked for post this at all.
I guess I'm just looking for advice on where to look for either likeminded folks, or folks who don't really see that kind of discussion/humor as integral to the spaces they want to spend their leisure time in.

I don't have any recommendations for Alliance side but I will say I know your struggle. It seems everywhere you go these days it's just adult humor and uncomfortable flirting. I've had to leave communities and Discords where I really would have loved the topic or purpose of it but the people just turned it all into adult conversations, nonstop, and I've even had people mock me for being uncomfortable with 18+ stuff.
Can't say how much interest a family friendly community as a whole would have, but could be worth a shot anyway, for at least those few folks would appreciate such an environment!
