Posted in the click down button on the first post, but ill repost here for you.

TRUST LEVEL 3

Get to trust level 3 by…

  • Must have visited at least 50% of last 100 days
  • Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
  • Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 500 topics
  • Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 20,000 posts (both starting posts and replies)
  • Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes over the last 100 days.
  • Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
  • Must not have been suspended (including forum suspensions or in-game account actions of any Blizzard game)

Yep I was silenced once for linking a straw poll and also got forum suspended for making a post talking about fast food. So that knocks me out of level 3.

The being forum suspended is questionable at this point as there’s a few posters who have said they’ve been suspended and yet still have level 3. The exact details are still unclear.

I’m at a higher level than expected. Was expecting lvl 1 but I’m at lvl 2, interesting.

I can assure you all that the level 3 lounge is exactly what you’d think it is. If you’re striving to gain level 3 for that and that alone?

It’s not worth the effort.

I got silenced for a post about how Blizzard needs more paid items in the store and I think suspended as well for a post about making up achievements. So I doubt I will ever make it to trust 3.

Yep once you get in “trouble” you re basically ineligible. Ridiculous but blizzard knows best right?

Once you reach TL3 you must continue reading the forums on the regular or you will lose TL3. It is NOT account wide as of yet!

Keeping my fingers crossed it willl happen soon

Very useful information, bumping this for visibility. i’m kind of bothered that blizzard doesn’t give higher trust levels to people who have been paying / playing for a certain number of years, but i can understand why, too.

Its kind of funny, since blizzard moved the forums, this would be the third forum ive used for blizzard since starting to play wow (remember back in the distant past when the blizzard wow forums had SIGNATURES and AVATARS? o_O)

All it takes is a group of players to not agree with what you said and then report you and you’ve earned yourself an automated suspension. It’s an amazing system.
