Find the Foreman Impossible To Progress

I somehow bugged my way through the blockade for the quest preceding this. I destroyed it from the other side, got teleported, but didn’t get instanced. I now have Find the Foreman, and I can’t get teleported inside, and I can’t face the foreman. Basically I’m softlocked.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Id open a stuck on quest ticket be warned tickets are averaging 2 days maybe a little longer.

Already have, gutted about this honestly. Means I basically can’t do anything until then.

I get it mite be a good time to start on a alt in the meantime.

I did the same thing. I soared into the cave at high speed as a Dracthyr straight past the cave blockage before it spawned, killed it from the other side, and now can’t progress. The blockage just infinitely regenerates when it hits 1 HP with no way to trigger the instancing. I had to hearth to get out of the cave, came back to kill it from the front, and it still regenerates. I’ve also dropped and reacquired the quest a few times, but the blockage remains regardless of what I do.

Same thing happened to me. I had to open up a ticket on an alt because the customer support window just spins continuously on the toon that’s stuck.

I did exactly this but with my mount does that mean that because of the lag this bug happened?

I also did it with my mount. If the wall is invulnerable and you aren’t being warped inside, yes this has probably happened to you.

I made a ticket and they gave me a generic templated/AI-generated response telling me to check wowhead.

Same here.
I can’t continue in the main campaign now because of this

Happened to me on this character because I was skyriding fast into the cave which bugged it out for me and now I cannot complete the main story quest line. Did the quest on another character and was able to progress it normally by just taking it slow.

Put in a ticket and received what seems like an automated response that doesn’t solve any of my issues. It just told me put in a bug report, which is exactly what I did in the ticket.

Players be warned before you brick one of your main characters. You will not be able to progress forward on any character that has this issue.

I feel like I should put the content of the ticket here to make sure everyone sees the typical automated response. This can’t be considered acceptable.

Greeting <REDACTED>,

This is Game Master Umkellxye, thank you for contacting Blizzard.

Reading what you wrote to us led me to believe that you are facing some challenges regarding the quest (Find the Foreman)

I've gone through everything and double-checked all the information, and I was able to find some players in wowhead that were able to complete the quest by " The foreman you are looking is called Kol Bruncrag <Foreman of Taelloch>. It looks like they have transformed into a black and blue rock monster. You should be able to see it when you look up as you enter the area, so keep to your right and head up the ramp. Don't go straight as the quest marker seems to suggest."
I will leave you below link for comments to check it out.

I genuinely doubt they even read it.

I received pretty much the same response from another GM named Shertoxfai. Only difference is that mine included: “As a gamer myself, I’ve been through many similar situations and I know exactly where you come from.”

Truly unacceptable responses.

I received the same exact GM statement and responded, asking if we will be compensated in any way. The only reason I upgraded from the base expansion was for this early access, as to not fall behind in guild. I wanted to be ready, with my main, to grind the available 80 content as soon as game launched, as that’s what the rest of the raid roster will be doing. I don’t expect we will actually be compensated at all, but figured it was worth a try.

I found the solution what you need to do is to have a player who has the mission to go to the cave invite you to his party and synchronize you BUT you have to leave the find the foreman mission before you do this or else you end up bumping both of them.

This worked for me as well, but my experience with this was less smooth. Once I was in a synced party, my NPCs would not spawn, so I couldn’t accept the quest again once in the cave, nor have it shared to me. My friend completed the cave sequence, then I was able to leave Taelloch, drop the sync, and reenter Taelloch to have my NPCs appear. I was then in the correct phase where I could kill the foreman. I didn’t drop the party though until I was done the cave completely.

The latest response to my ticket was, and yes, it is word for word:

Thank you for reaching out to Blizzard. Game Master Ruakeonone here, and I will be checking your request today.

Now, after reading your issue, I hear ya. I see that you are not able to complete the quest “Find the Foreman”.

We’ve received multiple reports regarding this particular issue. Currently, Game Masters can not provide this in-game, but the good news is that our developers are working in getting this sorted in the upcoming days, so I am hope that you see some progress on this very shortly.

Unfortunately looks like anyone stuck on this during early access will need to do the above work-around or complete the storyline on another character and skip the rest on the bugged/bricked characters.
