Find Pelagos!

Thats it. No instructions. No description of where he is. NOTHING.
Not even a mark of the cave’s entrance on the map.
Another example of the BEST design team that was EVER employed by Blizz.
I should not be googling the first quest in a new xpac.

less than 3 hours total play time in this Xpac in 3 days and I am thinking of never playing this again…

This is even more depressing than the last zone in BFA (one with the Queens raid) that really killed BFA for me.

Are we really so incapable that we need a wayarrow and map marker for every quest?

We’ve gone backwards for sure.

My advise is to look for the blue male Kyrian named Pelagos.

This is probably bait but the game holds your hand way too much as it is, you can’t even fail most quests if you intentionally try to.

The game badly needs less GPS based gameplay.

I dunno, seemed fairly obvious paying attention and doing the quests as they were picked up… I didn’t even look at my map or marker, it was just like, “oh he’s in the cave, obviously”.

“Find Pelagos”

Seems instructive to me.

The cave entrance is straight ahead. Pelagos is in the last room, killing the mobs on the way satisfies one of the quests.

Good luck next time! :seedling:

/tar pelagos

run to the yellow dot on your map

I found him without even trying. Sounds like a you issue to me.

In concept you’re right, but then it needs to compensate by keeping you engaged enough to care and explaining what you need to do in the text. New quests no longer say “Go northwest and kill x boars” They just say “Kill the boars” because they know you have your gps.

Oh for sure, the writing leaves a lot to be desired in terms of making you actually care about completing a task beyond just doing it for exp/progression of some sort.

I’m not going to judge you.

But you’re making it really hard to not be snarky.

There are definitely ways to go about things without a billboard with a giant arrow pointing to where you need to go. Look around at the environment and you’ll find your way.

The design team did a great job building the world.

I am not complaining (yet) about the BUILDING of the world. I did not experience it in full yet. but, since you did brought this up, how ( or why) do we even have beasts and birds in the afterlife? shouldn’t there be a complete separate Dogs heaven ?

Agreed, its supposed to be a game. We should not have to do “home work” LOL

Because when the afterlives were being created it was found that mortal souls seek the companionship of animals and the absence of such creatures hurt the cycle.
Also, if Blanchy is any indication, creatures have souls, and some of them deserve to go to special places when they go.

Is it really that hard the cave is right there in front of where the quest is given, there is a guy who runs out of the cave talking about Pelagos.

Wait, that quest wasn’t marked? I didn’t even notice. I just ran through the door started killing the little sha looking guys and ran into Pelagos as some point.

Kyrian 1 “We are going here to see my friend Pelagos!”

Kyrian 2 running from cave in fear “Pelagos started the ritual”

Kyrian 1 “Oh no, we have to save him!”

Player looking at monsters and Kyrian pouring from cave “Where go?”
