This was it, I was finally going to get a lotus, I actually saw one. As I approached my hopes grew. As I got closer, 1 priest rezzed on top of it. As I was attempting to kill said priest, another priest rezzed on top of it as well and took it. Hope gone. This really, really left a bad set of feels. Good game you got here.
Perhaps if you got gud…
You picked a pvp server, Blizzard didn’t pick it for you.
Why didn’t you kill the other priest?
The first one dispelled all his world buffs.
i cannot say what I want to say to you guys, but i will say lotus cameras and multiboxing are pay to win.
Life’s tough, maybe you will get lotus one day. Maybe you won’t.
Why having dead players being able to see herbs is beyond me.
Simply outplayed
If you got gud and put dead alts with max herbs at every lotus spawns you could farm then like the “gud” players.
This game is too serious lol
I see all of the sociopaths pounced on you like a bunch of 5 year olds at Chucky Cheese.
Can’t wait til TBC when the majority of them leave.
All I can say is sorry you went through this and just be patient.
Yeah, I have to admit I never thought I would see the day when botters and multi-boxers had their own shils on the forums, but I guess if you live long enough you WILL see things you thought would never exist in your lifetime.
Thanks.
Was it a black lotus or a purple one?

Its called competition, the entire concept of black lotus is open world competition.
If the black lotus style of managing rare herbs was such a good system why did it only last in Van
Fel Lotus>Black Lotus
They could literally just double the spawn rate , no changes was ruined like 270 days ago, why does it matter.
on grobbulus (very high contested server with “even” horde-alliance ratio, its more alliance but you get the idea)
black lotus are so rare, you cant even buy one, people just bank them hoping they will be worth like 500g each one day, nobody actually sells one.
its crazy, this cant be intended… 50,000 on a server and maybe 5 or 10 people who camp the spawns all day get all the lotus then hoard them, meaning 0 economy lotus.
Anyone who defends this awful game design regarding the lotus is just a blizzard fan boy. No reasonable person thinks this is a good system, even blizzard knows that, so they changed how they work in TBC.
I really fail to see the issue with just making a black lotus work like a fel lotus. It would be a bit of work for blizzard, and we would see cheaper more attainable black lotus, and people could actually use flasks in raids.
I think they don’t want to touch the vanilla client itself, fearing it would bug something else, could they just add an item spawn into the game like magic dust? easier said than done in a 2003/2004 game.
