Finally going to call it quits

Yeah. I’m done with this games pvp. Well, I’m pretty much done with the whole game at this point because I’ve had my fill of the pve.

I just can’t take the power gap anymore. I just got murdered by a 60k hunter 3 times in a row trying to take farm. I couldn’t do a thing with my 32k health while hitting like a wet noodle.

I get it. People like this stuff. You like to be rewarded for your accomplishments then turning that reward onto undergeared players.

Not for me man. Good luck. Have fun.

Here’s to hoping they equalize gear in pvp.

Hmmm, sounds like the perfect experience to share in this thread:

At this point all the changes are far too late to save it. Players abuse it ergo people no longer have any interest in paying money to a product that keeps avoiding what the player base (not the elites) want in the game.

They could have made all these changes long ago and all inquiries were met with a condescending scoof. In short nothing comes across sincere, well it comes across that way. Shame, many of us wanted this to be good/great but (shrug) one can only wonder why it even took this long. Beta all things were mentioned.

…did you see the video on how much blizzard makes off boosting and gold selling?..they make more money off boosting then subs…I’ll bet all these people that have high ratings and gear scores PAID for it…unless you want to pay real money to blizzard for all the endgame gear, titles and ratings, you won’t be able to…it’s right there in an expose by one of the youtube people…blizzard makes too much from boosting to stop it…heck, they make a ton of money from, you guessed it, botting…and all you guys were worried about the sexual harassment lawsuit, they got it under control with all the money from boosting…

Gearing sucks.

But if you are a skilled player it is just a time sink and you would eventually overcome it.

Boosting is good for game, why level when you can buy a boost?

You mean persistent. There’s nothing skilled about dying or hiding for 15 hours of PvP just to get some base level honor gear. I don’t care who you are, a freshly dinged 60 with 25k HP is not going to beat a 230+ ilvl character.

Before anyone says “well make a group and jump into some rated”… You’re being carried. There’s a name for that. Even if you aren’t paying for it, you are being carried by people with better gear and stats than you. At that point, your gear isn’t earned, it’s given.

Blizzard essentially created this problem in order to profit from loot boxes while avoiding actual loot boxes in the game.

Check this video from skillcapped, the do a terrific job explaining why Blizzard developed this system in shadowlands. This was deliberate, not by chance. This is also why they are doubling down on this business model. They were smart enough to do the same as EA while avoiding the backlash from players.

i literally was inviting people ~200 ilvl when I hit 60 and was like 196 ilvl. No. That’s not being carried lol.

Of course it’s for money. The system wouldn’t exist without it. I’m not saying the system is good, because well it isn’t. It’s super bad for alts, the catch up takes like 80-90 hours of total time played to get full duelist gear, it’s just slow and boring. All I am saying is, that if you are SKILLED enough then you will eventually reach BIS gear with enough time spent. The main obstruction here isn’t the ilvl disparity, because the differences between chal/rival/duelist really aren’t that huge to keep someone from advancing, it’s the time involved.

You hit 60 a year ago lol. Apples to oranges vs someone hitting 60 today.

Credit where credit is due. This character is quite impressive considering it dinged 18 days ago. The only thing I could say is that for a more casual player your progress might take more time, but still. Nice job.

I’m a pretty casual player and I can usually get in about 4 rated a night. And that’s with playing maybe night a week.

I hit 60 maybe 3 weeks ago, I feel like I got geared fairly quickly, mind you I had no life for that time, and still won’t while I try to find an arena partner to push rating to upgrade my gear with.
To me, finding an arena partner that isn’t a complete terror to deal with is the real challenge.

Do it, do it, do it!

Heckindoggo is the guy who bragged about getting glad in BFA as a destro lock, then tried to troll the wpvp forums and got clapped by a ww monk 5 times in a row.

Brave words from another low level classic toon…

This isnt pvp. Blizzard you should be a shamed of your self. This is last post I will make as after this I am deleting the game. You as a company are the biggest rip offs going. The whole game isnt worth playing. No you cant have my stuff as I have given my gold away which was quite a bit and all other items I could sell.
