Finally DOS nerfs

Finally seeing a change to the timer. Much needed.

This is the 2nd change to the timmer and there has been a fair bit of dos nerfs before this including literally last week not sure where your getting finally from.

Eh, DOS was fine last week. Timed it 5 or so times.

Tyrannical weeks might be different, but it wasn’t bad on a fort week. Maybe the fix is for even higher keys. IDK.

Now if they’d nerf the melee from some of the trash it’d be all set. My poor bear was getting ravaged last week.

They have nerfed the tank damage on some of the packs when they nerfed all the tank busters.

Some packs there do next to nothing to the party (all the ones on the ring save ragers.

If the packs do nothing to raid need to hit the tank hard or else they might as well not exist. The ring packs are fine you get hit hard but you chain your cds there and kite them. After that you get packs that don’t really hit hard as gain party mechanics.

These packs are fine as is.

It’s definitely much worse on Tyrannical week. Apart from Dealer whose arcane lightning stacking becomes much more dangerous on Tyrannical, DoS contains 2 of the 5 or so bosses in the xpac who scale exponentially with Tyrannical in Hakkar and Mueh’zala.

Hakkar’s shields and Mueh’zalas totem adds health both scale with Tyrannical along with the boss HP also scaling (something Blizzard said wouldn’t happen this expansion), which makes both fights significantly harder and longer on Tyrannical weeks.

They nerfed unavoidable skills. Tanks will never be able to tank with unavoidably high damage. Kiting is not tanking.

There are avoidable party mechanics in each of the packs. Most of the damage in mythic plus should be avoidable. Right now, there is such a thing as an unlucky death (shooter mobs pick random targets, if 6 choose the same mage, they’re dead), this should never be the case.

This isn’t a raid. This is the opposite of raiding a skill exhibition.

They are damage that needs to be dealt within the timer.

we had one before. it was 39.

I’am glad they did it. Things should be very nice now for all levels of skill.

The extra mins will allow keys to still be timed even with mistakes as it should be but still tight enough that being bad will result in failure.

It was fortified week, you’re supposed to get ravaged by the trash.

Dont get me wrong, I’m cool with getting beat on in fort dungeons, getting deleted by trash because they ran faster than my bear and were able to ignore vortex. that’s a big negative for me ghost rider.
Sure anyone can list a million ‘what if’ scenarios of how it could have been avoided had this or that happened. I was heated over having nondescript melee damage kill me over ya know…actual abilities.

I’m not a fan of this kite or die thing they are going with in SL. I’d like to not have to run for my life after cycling every defensive in my book plus a trinket. But that’s just me.
I prefer tanks be tanks, not what we have to do currently.

They didn’t need to extend the timer, they just needed to add a way to get from the boss immediately back to the central chamber. For a four-boss dungeon, far too much of it is spent on movement, with the worst offense being the after-boss run.

Yes. Wiping once on tyrannical or fortified was almost certainly a missed timer. No other dungeon is that unforgiving. 43 minutes seems like a good spot . They had teleports after each boss on beta but removed them. Maybe they’ll add them again in the future.

Failing the DPS check on Hakkar in Tyrannical week is still a 100% dead key. Same thing with Mists, really. Hell, I’d argue that Ingra Maloch on Tyrannical is at least as difficult as Hakkar is. The amount of DPS I run into on my Tank who just have no idea how to take advantage of that burst window is appalling.

Mueh’zala on Tyrannical is the hardest part about the dungeon because he just takes so long. It’s a 4-5 minute fight on Tyrannical week and it’s really hard on higher keys to kill your split images. The tank and healer have to blow dps pots and cds to have any chance to kill their image.

The extra +2 minutes makes it more doable.
