Final Stand acting up again - 10.2.7.54762

This recent patch has been super buggy. Generally Final Stand does its thing, with awkward stuff happening on certain bosses. But tonight I just used it in Neltharus, last pull before final boss. Just dropped threat entirely and every mob just went and one shot everyone in the group, one by one. I had used Final Stand all through the dungeon, just this last pull is when it decidedly doesn’t work? Ok.

I’m not sure what’s happening over there at Blizzard but the product’s ceasing to be functional.

It randomly didn’t work for me on Treemouth too. I popped DS for the second vines and my melee got munched.

I can at least rationalize that because with bosses there are some known ways to reproduce the bug:

  • When in an animation, such as Treemouth’s eating attack, Final Stand has been known to not activate the taunt after the animation gets interrupted by an immunity.

  • When a boss has a very large hitbox, the range between the paladin and the boss is calculated from the center of the boss’s hitbox, which can be greater than 15 yards. This is seen in Mechagon with the final boss and Waycrest Manor with the pig boss.

Granted, those aren’t excusable. They need to be fixed, too. I’m just saying now there are seemingly new ways to trigger the bug popping up that I haven’t seen before and it’s frustrating.

This happened to me last night. But it’s been bugged for a while now that of your up in the air on the z axis it will reset all aggro. They haven’t fixed it in a loooooong time
