Final Reckoning Usage

Reading the tooltip I see that the passive is only in effect when the cast is ready for this skill. Is there ever a time I shouldn’t use it on cd given that it will last the length of the time it will take to kill what I’m fighting?

Just send it every time its off CD and your in your 1/2 min burst window.

I’m not sure but in my eyes that “when off cooldown” part was always something for questing when you do not have to use FR that often.

FR is to be used on CD in any competitive setting. Otherwise, don’t worry about it unless something needs to die now.

The general CD rotation seems to be…

  1. Build up to 5 HP
  2. Use Avenging Wrath if up
  3. Use Seraphim if talented, build back to 5 HP
  4. Use Final Reckoning
  5. Use your HP spenders until you hit 2 HP
  6. Use Divine Toll
  7. Fit as many HP spenders in as you can during the Final Reckoning window.

You basically want to do this on cool down, unless you’re getting ready for a big pull or combat is going to end soon.

Afaik, that order with seraphim is incorrect. you want to seraphim beforehand to maximize wings uptime, but that does change with talents IIRC.
