FFXIV has magic. Once you get to the later expansions the story really starts picking up and man oh man especially the most recent expansion the story experience is PEAK final fantasy.
NO SPOILERS AHEAD JUST HYPE
The last boss of the base 5.0 expansion is EASILY the best video game fight I’ve ever experienced in ANY game bar NONE. The music, the atmosphere, the buildup. God if I could experience that for the first time again…if you want EPIIICCCC boss fights that make you care about who you’re fighting PLAY THIS GAME ITS WORTH IT I PROMISE

Better adjust your translator , you are not making sense syntactically. Some words are off also , used in the wrong context but what ever back on topic.
It’s a decent game. I just think I’m far too entrenched in this to make a switch worth it. For every qol you don’t see here there’s something else annoying there and probably more so. Last time I logged in I wanted to switch jobs but it seems like there’s no simple way to track down the npc. Could just be I’m noob but then all the more reason to stick to this.

I’m pretty sure it was an analogy, and it was quite apt as one. There’s more evidence in support of the anti vaxxer stance than there is that SE is paying asmongold.
What little magic? it offers a much better experience then current wow does, you just can’t go in expecting it to be like wow. You need to try it with an open mind to a narrative story driven game - not a wow-like action fighting game.
This is really the most important part of the discussion. Nothing is likely to capture the magic of wow 15 years ago, but Ffxiv is not competing with wow 15 years ago. It’s miles ahead of wow today.

hey its on him, Stream and youtube both make content creators list sponsors as part of their agreement to host. if ff14 was paying him, hes have to say so. otherwise hes off their systems. systems he’s used for years and as his only source of income

Edit: all his money made through those sites means he gets income reported from them (W-2), they have excess to his tax reports like your employer does yours

Exactly, its not even ff14, every new MMORPG people expect “That magic” to return through New world, Riot’s MMO, ect…it will never happen. Its a once and done deal but people are in denial.
MMO design 101: Loading screens are an immersion killer, and should be avoided at all costs.
Instances are bad enough, but zone slicing in FFXIV and “no, you can’t go there” blocking are kind of a dealbreaker for me, even though I do want to play through the story.
